Christmas

Merry Christmas!!! I hope everyone takes some time and thinks about why we really celebrate this day! When Jesus came to us as a baby to bring salvation to the world and think then what he did 32 years later!

I hope you all have a wonderful day being thankful for your blessing and the gift that Jesus brought us, Life!

7 Days until Christmas!

Wow, I can't believe how fast time if flying. I just finished wrapping the presents and now we just wait for the time to pass. Stephen is playing in the Christmas Eve service at Crosspointe. I'm really excited, it's the first time he's played since we had Isaac. I'm going to try and sit near the front so that Isaac can see what's going on. Hopefully he'll cooperate and make it through the whole service. We'll see.

I'm sure I'll write before Christmas but in case I don't...Merry Christmas and I hope you all take the time to remember why we celebrate this holiday!

Quick Update

Isaac went to the doctor yesterday for his four month check-up. I'm happy to report that he's doing wonderfully and growing really well! He's in the 60% for height and weight! We also get to start him on solids which is so exciting and sad all at the same time! I can't believe he's growing so fast, I just wish it would slow down a little! As soon as we get the pictures put on the computer of him eating the rice cereal I'll post them for you!

I hope you're all doing well!

Lots happening...

Wow, this weekend was a busy one! I had two shows this weekend, one Friday night and one Saturday afternoon. They were the last two shows I had booked and there were 12 people at each show. I was sure I would get one booking but no such luck. My contract is up in February and I don't think I'm going to sign a new one. Don't get me wrong Premier has really provided for our family this past year but I think that that chapter is over.

Sunday, Isaac was dedicated at church. Stephen's parents came into town for it and my parents came, Josh and Katie, and my Aunt Nance and Neil. It was a nice time to make that commitment to raise Isaac in a Christian home. I know its going to be a hard road raising Isaac but I know it's all worth it! Man I can't believe what a beautiful little boy he is and he's so happy and curious. He has this giggle that just makes my heart melt! It's amazing to see all the new things he's doing. I'm pretty sure he'll be sitting by himself by Christmas and I don't think that crawling will be that far behind!

We went and got our tree Sunday evening, I just couldn't wait any longer. I have just been so excited about decorating for Isaac's first Christmas. It really is my favorite time of year! Stephen has a train that we put under the tree. Once we had the tree all decorated and the train up Isaac just sat there staring at the lights and the train going around! Man this is going to be a wonderful Christmas!!!

Josh and Katie finally got their permit for the bakery so things are moving along! For all of you in the Fuquay area be on the lookout for Stick Boy Bread Company coming in January! It's on the Fuquay side across from the Jazzersize! It's so exciting to see the progress after such a long wait. I can only imagine the excitment that Josh and Katie are feeling. Everyone always asks them when they are going to have a baby and they say they are having a bakery! It's so true, they are birthing a bakery and sometimes I think it's harder work then if Katie were actually pregnant! It's just been such a battle for them! It's going to be such a blessing for the whole family and the community when it finally opens! Oh I can't wait for that yummy bread, cookies, cakes, coffee and smoothies! As soon as their website is up I'll post it on here for you all!

I hope you are all having a great December!
