I think I'm going to be sick...

I thought today I would share about my pregnancy and how I found out I was pregnant! Well in August, Stephen and I decided I should go off my pills, not because we wanted to have a baby, since we had only been married for a little more then a year, but because I was getting awful headaches from it. As soon as I got off, I felt so much better and just like my old self. Well obviously being off the pill wasn't the most effect of things, as we all know, since now we have Isaac.

I had a feeling I was pregnant and had picked up two pregnancy tests. Stephen was still at work and even though I had a feeling, I was sure it would be negative. Well when the faint little line showed up, I thought I was going to be sick. I freaked out, crying and so scared, thinking there was no way I was ready to be a mom. I had only been a wife for a year and I hadn't mastered that yet. I called Stephen on his cell phone and I was freaking out. He told me to calm down and he was sure the test was wrong, and if it wasn't it probably wasn't good for the baby for me to be so upset. haha, what a response, already thinking about what's best for our baby. So when he got home from work he was still saying that he was sure it was wrong. The next morning I took another test and this time the line got even darker. That settles it, we were going to become three.

I actually, don't hate me ladies, had a REALLY easy pregnancy. I didn't really have any morning sickness, just nauseous when I needed to eat. I was due on July 18 and had Isaac on July 20. I'll share in the next couple days my labor and delivery story. I remember the first time we went to the doctor and saw our little peanut on the screen. He was so tiny, it was amazing to think this little life was growing inside of me. I remember Stephen and I arguing about who got to take the picture to work, I won. Going to work I was so nervous because I knew I was going to tell my boss I was pregnant and the girls I worked with. At the time I worked at the Embassy Suites in Cary in the Sales and Catering office. As soon as I got to work I went into my boss Richard's office. I remember telling him and crying because I knew this was going to change my plans. He was awesome, he got up and gave me a hug and told me how excited he was for Stephen and I. He said I was going to be a great mom! Just what I needed to hear. The girls in the office reacted the same and were so excited for me! I miss being there but wouldn't change being home with Isaac for the world!

This is the first belly picture we took, obviously no baby bump yet.

Sadly I don't really have any pictures of my belly growing, just pictures of when it got big. The last picture was when I was 30 weeks.

We tell people all the time that we didn't plan for Isaac, but we truly believe that God's plan was for Isaac to be born. He has been such a blessing to us in this short time he has been on the earth! We thank God everyday for the wonderful surprise He brought into our lives! I love surprises!!!
